10 Better Finishers For Current WWE Superstars
7. The Ascension
Current Finisher: ‘Fall of Man’ (Spin Kick/Leg Sweep Combination)
Once one of the most exciting tag teams in NXT, The Ascension haven’t accomplished much since debuting on the main roster. Part of it might be their resemblance to the Road Warriors, but a big part of it is their weak tag team finisher.
The move just doesn’t look strong; the spin kick doesn’t always time itself properly with the leg sweep and in the grand scheme of things, it just doesn’t look like it hurts that much, which is the opposite of what a finishing maneuver is supposed to do.
Like Harper and Rowan, the Ascension needs a new tag team finisher that not only makes sense from a psychological perspective, but looks like it hurts.
Suggested New Finisher: Powerbomb/Backstabber Combination

Konnor is 6’4 and weights 264lbs., while Viktor stands 6’2 and weighs 222lbs. This size difference means that the two of them should take advantage of the different dynamics that exist between bigger and smaller wrestlers, and use a tag team finisher that actually emphasizes both of their assets.
Konnor would use his larger size and strength to lift the Ascension’s opponents up for a Powerbomb, and as he drops them down, Viktor could come in and deliver a Backstabber. The combination of Konnor’s strength driving their opponent into Viktor’s knees would make for an excellent finisher that fans would actually buy as an effective one, and would elevate them as a more effective tag team.
