3. Jim Cornette

Another loudmouth, Jim Cornette's promos are like a whirlwind of precisely-delivered information. Few can claim to speak with the speed of Cornette, his interview segments really have to be seen to be believed. No aspiring wrestling manager could fail to take at least a little inspiration from the man.

Coming across like an out-of-his-depth mummy's boy, Cornette also had a prop he relied on for much of his career. Instead of something stock like a baseball bat or steel chair, he carried a tennis racket to the ring with him, regularly swatting babyface opponents whilst representing The Midnight Express.

To put Cornette's ability to draw heat from audiences into perspective, he and The Midnight Express headlined on a regular basis throughout the 1980's for the NWA. Jim Cornette, despite being a non-wrestling manager, was a hot ticket seller. That proves how great at his job he was.

Even when he moved on to the WWF and worked with everyone from Yokozuna to Vader, Cornette had sufficient microphone skills to make them shine. He's one of the best of all time.
