2. The Rock Bottom

There's been a simmering debate for years now about who copied who as pertains to The Rock Bottom and Booker T's Book End. Some recall the move being absent from Rocky Maivia's early repertoire while others suggest the Book End only replaced Booker T's scissor kick after The Rock started using it.

But to use the parlance of the man most frequently associated with the move: It doesn't matter who started using it first.

Because way before these two had an Invasion Era showdown over who was the first wrestler to utilize the side slam as a finishing move - one of the odder quarrels to take up that much airtime - Bryan Clark was quietly making their little spat null and void.

For the briefest of moments during his tenure with WCW, Clark - who previously wrestled under the ridiculous moniker Adam Bomb in WWE - was the only active wrestler using the side slam. He debuted as Wrath, employed a martial arts gimmick, and teamed with fellow Mortal Kombat rip-off Mortis.

Though Wrath's solo finisher was a pumphandle slam called The Meltdown, his finisher as part of that tag team was called the Death Penalty, which would later be duplicated by Dwayne Johnson and renamed The Rock Bottom.
