10 Live Observations From Attending The Raw After WrestleMania 32

1. It Was Lousy

Many fans look forward to the Raw after WrestleMania, considering it the one guaranteed "good" Raw of the year. Clearly, there are no guarantees.

If WWE's creative team booked WrestleMania to spite the fans, then they booked Raw to spite themselves. They could have set the company in a bold new direction by shooting angles that would create compelling storylines and keep casual fans watching, but instead, they chose to stay the course and drive away as many of the Free WrestleMania network subscribers as possible.

We were all hoping that Roman Reigns would turn heel at WrestleMania, and when he didn't, Monday seemed like the last opportunity. Instead, he cut a promo, got booed, and did nothing. Turning Reigns would have opened up so many avenues of possibility, but we'll just have to spend the next several months sitting through more of the same.

Other much-anticipated shockers - like the debut of Samoa Joe or Balor Club - could have heightened fans' anticipation for the future, but those angles also didn't materialise. Cesaro's return was all well and good, but his loss in an admittedly-excellent main event shows that the company hasn't really changed its philosophy about him.

It's also nice to see Styles headlining Payback, but nobody honestly thinks he has a shot of beating Reigns...do they?

WrestleMania is over, and WWE's 2016 can begin in earnest. So far, it looks a lot like 2015.
