Is Stephanie a face or heel? You can almost understand the condescending manner with which she puts down babyfaces...almost. It's a failed and conceptually-baffling attempt to garner sympathy for them, but if you squint, you can just about see the logic.

Stephanie for some reason recently decided to take umbrage with Charlotte's method of gaining victories, deriding her for 'wasting her talent' - this despite engineering countless, similarly tainted victories for her charge Seth Rollins in the previous calendar year.

And yes, while the Authority did attempt to test Rollins' status as The Man, if they were so bothered about promoting a wrestler who didn't have to rely on interference, why didn't they simply pick a face to be the next face of WWE? So little about the Authority made sense, and Stephanie was at the heart of it all, both onscreen and off.

This altercation with Charlotte would have been fine and dandy (by her standards) if this was the onset of a proper face turn - but, as we'll see in the next entry, it definitely wasn't.
