10 Most Underrated WWE Ladder Matches Ever

5. The Rock Vs Triple H (SummerSlam 1998)

Before their series over the WWF Championship in 2000 The Rock and Triple H were engaged in a star-making feud over the Intercontinental Championship in 1998, the highlight of which was their ladder match at SummerSlam in Madison Square Garden. Being two bigger guys, The Rock and Triple H favoured using the ladder as a weapon and wearing each other down with moves using or on it rather than high flying antics. Triple H won the match but the result wasn't important in the grand scheme of things. The match put both guys firmly on the map and on the road to the WWF Championship. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4fmgh_triple-h-vs-the-rock-ic-title-ladde_sport Well worth watching as The Rock and Triple H have not had too many ladder matches and this was a major moment in their legendary feud. Plus, there's a wonderful People's Elbow on the yellow steel, which is quite the sight to behold.
