If there's reason to be excited about WrestleMania 34's (presumed) go-home encounter, then this is it. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have already contested a brilliant match on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and it came just three years ago in Santa Clara.

Of course, it should be conceded that much of what made this one such a thrilling spectacle was the fact that it was gate-crashed by a briefcase-wielding Seth Rollins at the death. His arrival saved what might otherwise have been a predictable finish.

But, even before then, this wasn't exactly going badly. Lesnar and The Big Dog were actually showing signs of chemistry in the ring, which many in the build-up were skeptical of, given how difficult the task of matching up two power-merchants can sometimes be.

For that, plus Seth's cash-in, WrestleMania 31's headline match has to go down as one that left the critics eating humble pie. Nearly everyone in the arena was getting ready to boo its finish, but they ended up leaving the stadium in high spirits.

Good job, gang.
