Torrie was all set to be named the first ever WWE Divas Champion but problems with her back forced her into an early retirement. The plans for her to be name champion were scraped and the belt was awarded to Candice Michelle instead. Her last match came against her long-time rival Victoria on SmackDown in November 2008. Torrie would win the match with her own variation of a neck breaker. Since retirement Wilson has kept herself busy in the media. She appeared on the last season of the NBC reality show 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' in 2009. She finished second to winner Lou Diamond Phillips. In September 2011, Wilson along with Candice Michelle filmed Lilian Garcia's music video "U Drive Me Loca."
