9. A-Train

Choo! Choo! Look out everyone, here comes the former Prince Albert/Albert/Hip Hop Hippo/future Tensai!

In 2002, Paul Heyman renamed Albert the “A-Train” and along with it, came a mini-push for the large, and quite hairy veteran. He wasn’t overly successful in his new role, but he did take part in some of the biggest matches of his career at the time. He teamed with The Big Show to battle The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and had a singles match against The Dead Man at SummerSlam. Both losing efforts.

Then, in 2004, the Train was instructed to hit the tracks, and head on over to Raw. It didn’t go well for him. He was largely relegated to Sunday Night Heat, and found himself without any storyline support. The brand apparently didn’t need a mid-card monster heel with a little extra back hair at the time. His final showing saw him lose to Val Venis.

The Train then disappeared for eight years before showing up again, this time as a large Asian man.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
