10 Wrestling Careers Damaged By The WWE Draft

10. Nidia

Nidia - Blind

Nidia Guenard was on the initial season of Tough Enough, winning the competition along with Maven. When she debuted on SmackDown, she was suddenly completely different from when we last saw her. She was now dating Jamie Noble, and fully embracing a redneck trailer park gimmick. The two were a blast together, but sadly, their love was not meant to be. She was blinded by Tajiri’s lethal black mist, and could no longer see.

Noble took advantage of this, and kept putting her in harm’s way until Rey Mysterio talked some sense into her. Noble and Nidia had a blindfold match, and she ended up losing due to her ex cheating. She was then drafted over to Raw and was so excited she immediately took off her SmackDown shirt to put on a Raw one, revealing her bra to Eric Bischoff and the audience. That was basically her most noteworthy moment on the brand.

Without Noble, Nidia dropped her entertaining redneck gimmick, and started to play up her Puerto Rican heritage. There wasn’t a lot to the act, and she mainly competed in random Divas tag matches until she was released less than eight months after switching brands.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
