Chris Jericho's final appearance on WCW Monday Nitro happened on the 5 April 1999 episode. There, in a United States Title Tournament semi, the soon-to-be 'Y2J' lost to Booker T in less than four minutes. After that, Jericho's WCW run consisted of house show jobs, and he was never on TNT prime time again.

Until now.

AEW's deal with the network means Jericho's career is coming full circle. On his 'Talk Is Jericho' podcast, he admitted to forgetting that Nitro was ever on the station at all. When he figured it out one day, Jericho was ecstatic that he'd be returning to the scene of the crime a full 20 years after last being on the air.

There is something cool about all this. When Jericho inevitably wrestles on AEW television, it'll be almost two decades to the day that he last worked on TNT against Booker. Way to make history, maaaaaaaaaan. Sorry, just had to get that in.
