10 WWE Heel Moments From Which There Was No Return
7. Hassan Insults The Troops
What's impressive is that Muhammad Hassan passed the point of no return on his very first WWE appearance, when he interrupted Mick Foley's cheap book plug (those are Mick's words) on a December 2004 episode of Monday Night Raw.
But the proud Arab-American wasn't there to hear any funny backstage anecdotes; instead, he went right into a self-righteous tirade about America's foreign policy, berating US troops - one of WWE's most sacred of cows - as "gutless cowards".
In the climate of 10 years ago, there was absolutely no chance of turning into a crowd-pleasing face after that (and, as it turned out, there wasn't much of a career for Hassan after that either, with the character suddenly becoming a little too hot for TV halfway through the following year).
