For most of his career, Chris Jericho has played a brash and cocky heel of the type you secretly kind of like, even though you'd definitely hate them if they came and sat next to you at a bar.

But in 2008, he began playing a stern heel, wearing a suit instead of a jazzy jacket, and clocking his Shawn Michael's wife in the jaw (albeit "inadvertently") instead of cracking wise and fiddling with the JeriTron 3000.

It was that incident at SummerSlam that led to the best bad guy run of Jericho's career, because even if it was an accident there was no need to act quite so smug about it in the months that followed.
