The climax of Eddie Guerrero's summer 2005 feud with Rey Mysterio was somewhat ambiguous, but you have to assume, given that it was all neatly tied up by the spring, that Rey was in fact Dominick's real father after all.

So does that mean Eddie, a man who was once all about family, was trying to claim custody of a child to whom he wasn't related, and further still, one who was already happily homed with real biological father and all-round swell guy Rey Mysterio?

If so, that's... pretty weird. And it would have been extremely difficult for Eddie Guerrero the character to ever come back from such a mean trick and find himself in the fans' good books again (although, for obvious tragic reasons, that was an obstacle they never had to consider).
