Monday's Raw had more piped-in crowd noise than latter day editions of WCW Thunder. Maybe not, but those fake cheers and boos were very noticeable as Raw played out before a knackered audience who had sat through WWE's epic multi-episode taping. It was cringeworthy stuff to see jaded fans sit still with stoic expressions on their faces as the company pumped canned noise through screens to viewers at home.

You couldn't have missed that. You might've missed 16 other little incidentals though.

This taped Raw continued Kevin Owens' tradition of pointing out flaws in the system, and it featured other hidden gems like embarrassed fans, those who require a bit of festive cheer, sneaky emphasis on WWE's international flavour and an accidental bit of groping from one of the refs. He made a right tit of himself (or a left).

Meanwhile, Akira Tozawa was turning his nose up at 2K20, Rusev was celebrating an event more special than the upcoming wedding, KO temporarily morphed into John Rambo and R-Truth showed why he'll never supplant Downey Jr as the new Dr. Dolittle...
