It did not take the WWE Hall Of Famer long to get rid of his signature blonde locks following the unexpected retirement that was forced upon him in 2011.

Edge wrestled his last high profile match at WrestleMania XXVII, defeating Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge announced his retirement just eight days later due to lingering neck issues from his years spent in between the ropes.

Less than a year after retiring from in-ring competition, Edge was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame and at the ceremony, he debuted a new look. Adam Copeland had cut his hair short, not so subtly signalling the finality to the end of his in-ring days.

The WWE superstar Edge had long been associated with his long, blonde hair so when fans saw him with the new 'do, it was an adjustment.

As the Class of 2012's headliner, Edge showed off his new look, even cracking jokes about it. It's just hair, but, like many wrestlers, was a big part of the Edge character for many years.
