Few stories of the post-Hogan era were as engrossing or elegant as the sibling rivalry between Owen and Bret Hart. Starting at Survivor Series 1993, the seeds of resentment were planted as Owen desired to move out of brother Bret's shadow. When tensions boiled over at the Royal Rumble, Owen snapped, turning on his brother, and challenging him to a match at WrestleMania X.

Opening the show, Owen wouldn't let the spotlight mess up his composure, as he and Bret put on a classic, forever raising the bar for curtain-jerking matches. The chemistry between the brothers was obvious, as both men used their training in the Hart Dungeon to put on an excellent display of technical prowess, but more important was the story they told: Bret tried to contain his wily younger brother and keep the encounter a simple wrestling match without losing his composure.

Ultimately, Owen would get the upset victory, but Bret would have the last laugh, as later in the night, he would reclaim the WWF Championship, thus allowing this iconic feud to continue and bring forth another classic at SummerSlam '94 (that one got 5 stars).
