25 Biggest WWE Epic Failures Of 2016
13. Brock Lesnar Vs. Bray Wyatt Never Happens
It was rumored as early as December 2015 that WWE had plans to do Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 32. Lest we forget, Wyatt vs. John Cena at WrestleMania 30 and Wyatt vs. The Undertaker at 'Mania 31 were both speculated months in advance and ultimately came to fruition, so it looked like Wyatt vs. Lesnar was essentially a lock for The Show of Shows as well.
The Wyatt Family attacked Lesnar on the go-home episode of Raw before the Royal Rumble and even eliminated him from the Rumble match itself days later. But at some point between then and Fastlane, WWE changed their minds and went in a different direction with Lesnar facing Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania instead.
At least WWE tried to tie up loose ends by doing the match at Roadblock, right? Although Wyatt vs. Lesnar was originally advertised for the event, it turned into a Handicap match at the last minute involving Luke Harper. Wyatt never stepped in the ring once, so WWE failed to deliver on their promise of Wyatt and Lesnar settling their score.
It would have been excusable if they rekindled their rivalry later the year, but they ultimately ended up on opposite shows and the whole program was just forgotten about.
