8 Mistakes WWE Have Already Made With Jason Jordan's Push

7. New Theme Music

Altering Jason Jordan's theme music now that he's a singles competitor is only a small change, and a logical one at that. But it speaks volumes about the overall issues with his push.

Jordan has abandoned the rousing theme music of American Alpha, a move that even more clearly separates him from his former tag team. Chad Gable, however, has kept the same music and Titantron, allowing him to maintain that affiliation to the past glories the team achieved together.

However, Jason Jordan's new music is incredibly similar to the American Alpha theme, still composed of blaring brass and hyped-up horns. So while ditching his prior theme music instructs the WWE universe not to associate Jordan with his former tag team, the nearly identical display fails to make Jordan feel distinctive or important on his own merits.

This is symptomatic of the overall presentation that is damaging Jordan's push. He's supposedly a new man, but not in any way that makes you care for him. The WWE Universe are subtly told in this one move that Jordan is not the man you've grown to love, but fundamentally hasn't evolved or changed into somebody else either.
