Kurt Angle To WWE: 7 Great Potential Matches For His Return
It seems like every time Kurt Angle does an interview he talks about a potential return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Angle recently did an interview where he mentioned his current deal with TNA Wrestling expires in September 2014 and he's not sure what he'll do next. He claims that he'll make a decision in December. Considering WWE's best time of year begins in January with the Royal Rumble, it makes a lot of sense for him to return at that time. Angle could return to TNA, go back to WWE or perhaps even head to Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling promotion that is starting up soon. Angle did have issues with Jarrett in the past because Jarrett married Angle's ex Karen, but Kurt has also remarried and had two more kids (he has four in total) while the two men are apparently on good terms. It's nice that he has options although a return to WWE is what most fans want. The reason Angle going back to WWE is a big deal is because he is one of the best wrestlers ever. In the early 2000s, he was arguably the best in the world for a period of about five years and he proved it no matter who he was in the ring with. What was incredible about that period was he was the best even though he didn't have that much experience. If anybody could be called a "natural" at pro wrestling it's Angle. Angle's on screen career in WWE took place from late 1999 until he left the company in August of 2006. He debuted in TNA Wrestling in September 2006. He's actually been in TNA longer than WWE. It's weird to think about it that way, but it's trueit's damn true. His WWE exit was a rough one because his health was deteriorating and he wasn't given time off. However, it would seem like if he was free that WWE would be willing to bring him back for one more run even as a part timer. A Hall of Fame induction would be a lock too. Now 45 years old, Angle is still competing in TNA although injuries have definitely slowed him down. His ability to have great matches is still there, so as long as he takes care of his body he'll likely continue to compete in the ring. Angle mentioned wrestling for five more years, which sounds crazy, but when it comes to Angle he seems to find a way to overcome the odds. After all, the man did win an Olympic gold medal in wrestling with a broken neck. Here's a look at seven potential opponents for Angle in WWE.
