Jay White is the newest member of CHAOS, and already, he's the group's problem child.

Returning to New Japan as the 'Switchblade,' White unsuccessfully challenged Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January. At New Years Dash, he teased joining forces with Bullet Club, but instead, attacked Kenny Omega. From there, Kazuchika Okada shocked everyone and announced White as the newest member of CHAOS. This struck everyone as suspect, since by this point, the group were fully-fledged babyfaces, yet here was Okada bringing in a sadistic baddie like White.

Nonetheless, the Switchblade would deliver for the group, winning the US Title from Omega at The New Beginning in Sapporo, and over the next few months, White would dial down on his heelishness.

However, come the G1, the real Jay White returned, as he cheated his way to a victory over Okada, and announced that he was challenging the Rainmaker's spot as leader of CHAOS. That story has yet to be resolved, but with both having unclear paths to Wrestle Kingdom 13, it's only a matter of time before they come to blows again over who is the true leader of the group.
