At the end of The Shield's run they had established themselves as one of the most dominant forces WWE has seen in a while. Many speculated that the heel stable would be ready for a split but a sort of face turn extended their run slightly longer. The newly reformed stable of Evolution (minus Ric Flair) banded together to take on the young Hounds Of Justice in this epic 6-man tag match at last year's Extreme Rules event.

In this Match Of The Year Contender, Evolution truly performed in a way that was best for business. Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton would be the ultimate platform for the young stars of The Shield to shine.

While the more memorable spots were the moments where The Shield was on offense, arguably that was the best booking decision. It might have been Seth Rollins who dove fifteen feet out of the sky on a ledge in the crowd but it was veterans like Randy Orton there to receive the future WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Everything about this bout was amazing and Orton's veteran stable were the perfect heel counterparts to the young team of Rollins, Ambrose, and Reigns. This was the best match that Randy Orton would be involved in at Extreme Rules.

How will his match against Rollins for the 2015 edition of Extreme Rules stack up compared to these?
