2. Last Man Standing Match vs. CM Punk (2011)
CM Punk would make his way to the ring flanked by the New Nexus in this Last Man Standing match against Randy Orton. There would be an Anonymous GM message prior to the match start stating that New Nexus would be banned from ringside.
Kendo sticks and steel chairs would be used liberally as these two beat the snot out of each other. It would feel like they tortured each other's bodies throughout this 20 minute brawl. Orton would even clear off an announce table to deliver an RKO only for the table to not collapse. These two would often interrupt each other's 10-counts just to not pass up the chance to inflict more damage on each other.
The ending would come in spectacular fashion after a devastating top-rope RKO was used against Punk. Referee Charles Robinson would begin his 10-count that would see both men almost not make it to their feet. While Punk never did Orton would finally stand up for the win at the tail end of the count of nine.
