The Good

The eleventh and final Judgment Day PPV was just kind of...there. There was nothing exceptional on the show, really, but nothing outwardly terrible, either.

Chris Jericho was Judgment Day MVP (again), as he produced another cracking match with Rey Mysterio. Like the Michaels match in 2008, this would be the first in a long series of them.

On top, Jeff Hardy and Edge had a mildly disappointing match. It was still good - those two would hardly put on a trainwreck - but watching it it's hard to shake the feeling that they were perhaps holding back a little and had another gear to kick into.

Other matches that fell under the 'perfectly acceptable wrestling banner' were the Umaga Vs. CM Punk opener, John Morrison Vs. Shelton Benjamin and Jack Swagger Vs. Christian (ECW Champion). All were fine and had some good wrestling, but there was just something missing.

The Bad

Big Show Vs. John Cena was pretty bad, guys, and Randy Orton Vs. Batista wasn't that much better. Both dragged on longer than they should and had weird finishes. The Batista/Orton match is pretty good, though, if you're a chinlock enthusiast.

The Rest

Joey Styles took a unique approach towards promoting the PPV by tweeting 'Even those misled Americans who voted for the Marxist Barack Hussein Obama are invited to join the Judgment Day Live Chat on WWEUNIVERSE.com.'

What a nice fella.
