Triple H Chris Jericho Judgement Day 2002 HEll in a Cell

The Good

Judgment Day 2008 was Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels' night. The two talented veterans stole the show with their match, the third on the card, which helped kick off the best rivalry of the year. It was only meant to be a one time thing, but WWE were so impressed with their storytelling and chemistry that they booked them to have a longer dispute. Definitely check this one out if you get the chance.

Other good matches came courtesy of Edge and The Undertaker and Randy Orton and Batista. But then, given their talent level and how many times they'd clash previously, you'd expect them to, wouldn't you?

The Bad

Nothing offensive on here, but a lot of average. Cena and JBL once again demonstrated that they have little chemistry with one another in the opener (they had one great match together, of which we'll get to in due course). Watching their matches was almost always a tough ask.

The Mickie James/Beth Phoenix/Melina Women's Title match was alright for what it was, but seriously rushed. MVP versus Jeff Hardy, meanwhile, was just a match between two guys. It had no reason to exist on this card, and the two men wrestled like it had just been thrown together.

The Rest

Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhode retained their Tag Team Titles against the positively wacky pairing of Carlito & Santino Marella in the dark match. I'm bet you're glad you know that piece of information, aren't you?
