Similar to Victoria, Mickie James was introduced to WWE audiences with a psychopathic gimmick. Though unlike Victoria, her version of the psychopathic gimmick was less deranged and more 'creepy.' Debuting in 2005 as WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus' biggest fan, James quickly revealed that her affection for Stratus was more of a dark obsession. The angle had Stratus and James compete together as tag team partners, but over time James would start to dress like Stratus, use Stratus' own move sets and even attempt to initiate a lesbian relationship following a kiss under a sprig of mistletoe. However after declaring her love for Stratus at the Royal Rumble 2006, Stratus would suggest that they spend time apart from one another, particularly as it was revealed James had built a stalker like shrine in her honour. As a result of Stratus' explicit rejection of her advances, James would become increasingly unstable to the extent of turning on Stratus herself and vowing to destroy her and take her Women's Championship at WrestleMania 22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbNgoZYMPiA Their rivalry would eventually conclude at Backlash 2006, and no doubt will be best remembered for the bizarre gimmick of Stratus obsessed James than the actual rivalry itself.
