WWE: The 5 Men Planned To Be WWE's Biggest Stars After WrestleMania 30 - Report
The latest Wrestling Observer has reported on the internal projections within WWE of who the biggest superstars will be following WrestleMania 30. This intriguing list was put in order of who will be the biggest star, offering insight into the talent who will dominate the Spring and Summer months of 2014. While plans could still change, if WWE head in the direction they want, then we will have a drastically different landscape from who the top guys have been this past year. Then again, while there are some surprises on this list, other things never change. One name that will be a change of direction is Dave Batista. He is currently well and truly in the top 5 biggest stars, but Dave Meltzer's Observer report states that the WWE list "surprisingly" lacks Batista. Could that be a reflection of his poor reception since coming back, or is it more likely that his omission will be due to plans for him to leave for a while to promote Guardians Of The Galaxy? Most likely the latter. The lack of CM Punk's name as one of WWE's internal top 5 performers also pretty much confirms there's no expectation of the star returning. He has enjoyed the number 2 spot in the company for a few years now, but as things stand, even if he did return he would at best be the number 3 guy in the industry. Bray Wyatt is another name who doesn't rank in WWE's planned stars, which suggests his big moment with John Cena at WrestleMania 3o won't be all it's raked up to be. This latest WhatCulture feature will take a look at WWE's internal list of the top 5 Wrestlers they project for later in 2014, offering analysis of what the stars offer, if they are a good or bad choice and where the story could be taking them.
