WWE: The 5 Men Planned To Be WWE's Biggest Stars After WrestleMania 30 - Report

5. Roman Reigns

The initial reaction to Reigns only being ranked fifth in WWE's plans was somewhat of a surprise. We thought he would be ranked higher. The company has pushed the Shield leader very hard at Survivor Series and Royal Rumble in dominant performances. You would have expected him to seal his meteoric rise with a defining night at WrestleMania 30 before splitting from The Shield. He could have then gone on to become the number 3 or even 2 star in the company over the summer, it felt like a Championship match was in his future. It now looks like that could be longer away. Perhaps he wins the 2015 Royal Rumble and enjoys that top three elevation around WrestleMania 31. No matter how long it takes, he's going to be huge at some point €” this guy just has "it". The immediate future looks a continuation of the current fractured Shield relationship. A feud with Kane and The Wyatt Family looks set to play out through the spring, with Bray returning to the hostilities following his Mania match with Cena. We'll probably see a couple more epic six mans spearheaded by Bray and Roman before he does eventually leave for a singles run later in the year. When that happens, projecting Reigns as the fifth biggest star in the company seems a conservative estimate €” he has the potential to go much bigger than that and much quicker too.
