WWE: 7 Wrestling Sons That Surpassed Their Fathers

5. Eddie Guerrero

If you mention the Guerrero name to a wrestling fan they're going to know who you're talking about. Gory Guerrero built a wrestling legacy for his family in Mexico as well as Texas. He had four sons and two sons with the late great Eddie Guerrero emerging as the biggest star of the family. His other sons Chavo Sr. (father of Chavo Guerrero Jr.), Mando and Hector were all wrestlers too. Eddie started wrestling in his early 20s, but his father Gory never got to see him become the big name he would become because he passed away early in Eddie's career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FYBQGls5Hc The biggest highlight of Eddie's career was when he won the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004. His brothers were at ringside along with his mother. Even though his father has passed away, it was a moment where Eddie thought about him a lot and one that Gory would have been very proud of. It still hurts when wrestling fans talk about Eddie's heart attack death in 2005 because he was the most beloved wrestlers ever. He was a man that made a lot of mistakes in his life that he admitted to publicly, but he overcame those demons and had a career that was special to a lot of people. His father would be proud of him.
