WWE: 7 Wrestling Sons That Surpassed Their Fathers

6. The "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase Sr.

Ted DiBiase Sr. aka WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" was the son of "Iron" Mike DiBiase. Iron Mike was actually the adopted father of Ted Sr., but he's the man that raised him along with Ted's father. Sadly, Iron Mike passed away at the age of 45 when Ted was just 15 years old. Mike passed away during a match when he suffered a heart attack. The legendary Harley Race was there when it happened, he tried to perform CPR on him, but it was unsuccessful and Mike was dead at the hospital. Ted fell in love with the wrestling business because of his father, so it's a shame that his dad never saw him compete and live his dream. Ted had a great life in WWE as one of the top heels in the business in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Even though he didn't get to become WWE Champion like he should have been, he's still considered one of the best WWE performers ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29TZqnRsGuk Ted Sr. has three sons: Mike, Ted Jr. and Bret. Ted Jr. is the one that had the most success in WWE although he recently left the company to live a more normal life with his family. If he had been pushed as a bigger star perhaps he'd still be there. It doesn't seem like he'll be returning soon.
