What a wonderful title defence for Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY this was. The champs are one of the most over teams this division has ever seen, and it was cool to see Kiana James and Giulia get a deserved opportunity against such high profile workers. The challengers were never winning this, but they looked good out there. James, in particular, is coming along very nicely and could be a real breakout success story if Triple H is patient enough.

Kiana has good aggression, and has knocked everything out of the park on SmackDown thus far. Formatting the match to include that heel heat on SKY before the hot tag to Ripley was simple but smart - the live crowd went crazy for it. Yep, more of this, please. It's also interesting that Giulia took the fall instead of Kiana, That might be something to keep an eye on in the near future.

Would anyone really be shocked if WWE had James dub her client dead weight before taking the Women's United States Title from her? That belt feels a bit rudderless on Giulia currently, so it could use a shot in the arm to get some eyeballs on it. There are certainly worse ideas out there than pulling a reverse Maxxine Dupri with the Women's Intercontinental Title. In other words, stick it on a fresh face you hope will only continue to get better and better.

Again, fab match. If you enjoy the chemistry RHIYO has, then you really have to see this one.
