3. Babyface Talking Isn’t Tiffy’s Strength

The opening promo on Friday's show existed just to get to the Women’s Tag-Team Title match, and it felt like a total waste of time for Tiffany Stratton. Honestly, she'd be so much more effective as a heel - literally Tiffy's whole ‘me, me, me’ act is heelish. Also, how many times are we gonna see Stratton and Nia Jax at one another’s throats around this place?!

It was a standard promo train to kick things off, but nobody really had anything important to say. WWE needs to stop sending top stars out there with nothing to talk about other than things fans already know. Stratton was rudderless, and that's a problem when she's only just returned during the Royal Rumble over in Saudi Arabia.

Maybe the upside to these 3 hour SmackDowns is that Triple H will always be able to find spots for everyone on the booking sheets, but...'The Game' still needs to make sure their appearances are worthwhile and interesting. This one wasn't. Tiffany's entire promo could've been boiled down to a line on commentary from Joe Tessitore or Wade Barrett, and that speaks volumes about how pointless it was.

She wants to win the Elimination Chamber match after qualifying last week. Who knew?!

WWE would be doing themselves a massive solid by turning Stratton heel and moving her over to Raw sooner rather than later. It felt like she completed SmackDown last year, and now it's blatantly obvious she doesn't have a meaningful spot as a babyface on the blue brand roster.
