An old, abandoned WrestleMania 41 card has leaked via the just-debuted WWE Unreal docuseries—and the lineup looks a lot different from what fans were served in Las Vegas, Nevada, this April.
As seen on a whiteboard during WWE Unreal, the WrestleMania 41 draft features a big role for 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and different opponents for CM Punk, Randy Orton, Becky Lynch, and a host of other big names. In fact, only then-WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena and Logan Paul vs. AJ Styles survived to the real-life event.
WWE legend Austin, whose iconic WrestleMania 13 clash with Bret Hart was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at 'Mania 41, was set to be a special guest referee in a match between Drew McIntyre and Bron Breakker.
Rhodes vs. Cena, Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins, and CM Punk vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther are listed as the top matches. Punk ended up facing Reigns and Rollins in a Triple Threat, while Gunther lost the World Heavyweight belt to Jey Uso, who was pencilled on for a six-man Intercontinental Title ladder match on Unreal.
Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair was listed. This match also became a Triple Threat in real life, with IYO SKY added. Elsewhere, main event disrupter Travis Scott was down as Rey Mysterio's manager vs. Chad Gable.
