10 Stupid Arguments About Batman That Don't Make Sense

10. His Secret Identity Doesn't Make Sense

Now this one is just plain foolish. There was a Reddit discussion not too long ago where users discussed how quickly, in real life, it would take the authorities to uncover the secret identity of the Dark Knight. They figured a few weeks, months, tops. The assumption that Bruce Wayne's evening activities should be strikingly obvious to everyone, though, makes a few assumptions. First of all, why would Bruce Wayne even be considered? Besides living in Gotham City, there's nothing that would connect him and Batman. Oh yeah, he's absent whenever Batman is, and has all the resources to do what the Caped Crusader does. Well, you don't see Donald Trump in public all that often, and he's rich as balls, and he's definitely not Batman. The other assumption you make when you express your incredulity that nobody in Gotham has realised the strikingly obvious €“ that Bruce Wayne is Batman €“ is that they'd even want to know. He keeps the city safe, or as safe as it every can be. Why would you jeopardise that by snooping?
