10 Things Every MCU Fan Needs To Know About Moon Knight

9. Powers Depend On The Moon Cycle

Vengeance of the Moon Knight
Marvel Comics

It would be rather silly for a character literally named Moon Knight to not have his powers at least somewhat correspond with the phases of the moon, or to at least have some association.

Under normal circumstances, Moon Knight is a reasonably capable fighter and detective, able to solve crimes and deal with the perpetrators thereof with little more than his wits and a well thrown moon boomerang (moonarang? Moonarang.) But sometimes that isn't enough, and in those situations, the lunar cycle lends a helping hand.

Depending on how far along the lunar cycle the moon is that particular night, Moon Knight's strength, speed and durability are increased accordingly. And mind you, this is already a dude who is hard as balls to take down in broad daylight, so when the moon is just right, he's damn near unstoppable. Especially since this can't even be applied as a weakness. none of his power is taken away by the lack of a moon, it's just increased. You still have to deal with a badass crazy man in a white mask under normal circumstances.
