10 Worst Things Loki Has Ever Done To Thor

The Avengers/Defenders War is considered to be the first ever crossover event in comics. In a story that ran across both titles, Loki and Dormamu teamed up to trick the Defenders into collecting the pieces of an ancient artefact called the Evil Eye.

The Defenders thought that they needed the Eye to save their teammate Black Knight, who had been turned into a statue. However, once completed, it would instead allow Dormamu to merge the universe with his Dark Dimension.

Loki, of course, wanted the Evil Eye for his own ends and so he went behind Dormamu's back and warned the Avengers to stop the Defenders. Thanks to his manipulations, Thor was forced to battle his own friends and had to once again fight one of his strongest opponents, the Hulk.

Eventually, Namor and Captain America were able to figure out that the two teams had been manipulated, but it was too late. Dormamu assembled the Evil Eye and began to merge the two universes.

Loki, being Loki, betrayed him at the last minute though and Scarlet Witch was able to banish the demon back to his own dimension. Still, it doesn't exactly make Loki the hero of all this.
