No matter if she's going by the name Dinah Drake or Dinah Laurel Lance, one thing's certain - if you get on the wrong side of Black Canary, then you're going to wake up in traction.
First appearing in 1947 as a supporting character, it's doubtful that anyone predicted anything more than that kind of role for her, let alone one that has seen her become a member of some of the biggest teams in DC history.
The JLA, the JSA, and the Birds of Prey have all benefited from Dinah's presence and it's not just because of her devastating Canary Cry. She's one of the toughest people in the DCU, and has proven it time and again.
