If youre wondering how the Suicide Squad would work as a film, look no further than Batman: Assault on Arkham Asylum. Set within the Arkham game universe, this animated flick sees Waller task the Squad with breaking into Arkham Asylum and assassinating The Riddler for leaving all those goddamn trophies around the city. Of course, nothing is as it seems when it comes to Waller and eventually the sh*t hits the fan, the fan hits back, the cops come, its awkward. Deadshot and Harley hook up before the events at Arkham and Joker has the distinct feeling that his ex rebounded to yet another mass murderer with a Batman hang-up. Telling the new guy, Lawton, that he doesnt like people touching his stuff, Joker points a pistol at Deadshot. Lawton tells him him that hes out of bullets and that as soon as the trigger 's pulled he's gonna beat his brains out, Joker starts counting backwards and just before he hits one, he stops, telling Deadshot to wait so that he can check if theres bullets. As soon as Joker successfully fires into the air, Lawton slugs in the noggin. Dont ruin this scene for me by pointing out that Joker had an automatic and should have shot Floyd as soon as he saw that the slide wasnt pulled back. Captain Boomerang said Mate you just out-crazied the Joker! Deadshot's one of only two characters to out-crazy the Joker, right behind Batman and that guy who keeps chasing smearing poop on school bus windows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q79R9wPifII
