15 Fantastic Four Villains Who Could Be The Next Big Bad Of The MCU

14. Super-Skrull

The Skulls first appeared in Fantastic Four #2 with the Super-Skrull, Kl'rt, arriving on the scene by FF #18. With the Skulls in MCU — and assumedly playing a major role moving forward given Spider-Man: Far From Home's stinger — the big-screen arrival of the Super-Skrull seems eminent.

This Skrull is endowed with all four of the Fantastic Four's powers that are amplified. He's had run-ins with other heroes like Thor, Spider-Man, and the Avengers, but more intriguingly, once aligned himself with Thanos.

In the MCU, Thanos enlisted the help of many otherworldly beings to recover the infinity stones, creating an easy segue to bring in the Super-Skrull. With Ronan out of the picture, the Super-Skrull can continue the Kree-Skrull war, perhaps leading him to encounter the Fantastic Four on Earth.

Super-Skrull's inclusion in the MCU be a treat for FF fans and it could also plant the seeds for a Secret Invasion storyline. What if the Super-Skrull made the call to swap Nick Fury and Maria Hill with Talos and Soren? His seemingly benevolent motives might be uncovered as lies now that Fury is spending time in space.
