5 Comics Unlikely To Get A Big Budget Movie

4. Solarlord

Solar Lord I received this book a few weeks ago. It was an early Christmas gift (I do love my comics) and it looked awesome. It was written by a Korean guy who€™s name I€™ve chosen to omit due to the fact the central part rhymes with Duck and Luck but is neither of the two (google it). My other half bought me it on that very premise. No, not the fact it looked awesome. But rather for the author€™s name. I kid you not. The story itself reads out like Dragonball Z on acid. And I dare say, I have never tried acid or condone it but I picture there€™s little other acid could be worse consuming during than an episode of Dragonball Z. Basically there€™s a guy in this called Nickson who ends up being summoned to a crevice deep in the heart of God knows where (Africa I€™m informed) where he meets none other than Zeus who gives him powers to defend the Earth from the Emperor of Darkness. It€™s a killer premise. The point I find many people getting lost off, is the bit where the battles more or less take place around the solar system and the Emperor has the amazing ability to lose his fingers, which in turn, turn into unbelievably powerful fiends with names such as Twister, Aparts and Puzzle. Totally mental. But hey, it€™s as colourful as Mardi Gras. Still don€™t see people sitting still through it if it were a movie though. Or sitting for that matter.
