Gotham Season 5: 5 Major Questions We Have After '13 Stitches'

One of the more interesting subplots of this episode saw Selina and Oswald teaming up to take down jewel thief, Magpie. It provided us with an opportunity not only to see Selina's sassier, playful side, but also gave us a rare chance to see the interesting dynamic between these two wonderful characters.

After the duo accomplished what they had set out to do, they discussed the possibility of leaving Gotham city in their rearview mirror. Oswald has conquered everything there is to be conquered in the post-apocalyptic city, and Selina hates the fame that 'killing' Jeremiah Valeska has brought to her door, so the pair are ready to move on to greener pastures.

As great as it would be to see a future when Catwoman and The Penguin rule over a city together à la Batman Returns, it's highly unlikely that, at this stage in the Fox series, the two mainstays will up sticks and leave. They're extremely important to the show's overall narrative, and will likely play a huge part in the series' resolution.
