16. The Dog Tags

At one point, Logan's iconic dog tags from the previous X-Men films reappear, despite him leaving them behind at Alkali Lake when it was flooded, killing Jean Grey (temporarily). The tags, which carry the same identity number - 45825243-T78-A - were given to Logan by Colonel Stryker, and went with him to his grave at the end of X-2.

Incidentally, those tags were replacements, after Logan threw his originals at the feet of Stryker in the same manner in X-Men Origins: Wolverine at his disgust with the team's methods.
