Not only has the Marvel Cinematic Universe changed the world of comic book movies, it has changed the landscape of the entire movie industry itself. After its creation of the biggest and first truly successful shared universe, almost everyone, it seems, has tried to follow the same pattern.

The idea of franchises within franchises, character crossovers, and huge team-up movies was thought to be impossible before Iron Man, but is now a standard part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Over a decade of second-to-none storytelling has solidified the greater MCU franchise's status, and it shows no signs of slowing down moving into Phase Four.

Throughout the 23 movies that populate the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, it's safe to say that there are countless memorable, epic moments, and even the consensus weakest entries like Thor: The Dark World and The Incredible Hulk are able to boast at least one or two great moments.

From spinetingling character entrances, to huge revelations and reveals, and action unparalleled in the comic book movie world, picking a single greatest moment from each MCU movie is no easy task.

In the end, however, there is always one scene worthy of taking the crown.

23. The Fight At Culver University – The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk is certainly the black sheep of the MCU, and to call it average at best would be quite generous. At this point, Mark Ruffalo was four years away from his franchise debut, several potential plot threads were just left and never revisited, and just about every main character was forgotten about.

There aren't many standout moments to choose from to claim the title of best of the movie. The opening sequence is a unique way to get across a lot of exposition, but easily the best moment is the first full reveal of the Hulk.

We had to wait almost an hour before catching our first glimpse of the newest iteration of the Green Goliath, and there is no denying that seeing the monster launch himself through the gas and fog at Culver University was pretty cool. More so than anything else in the movie, at least.

The huge green rage monster destroyed Thaddeus Ross' entire arsenal and made it look easy, with the sonic waves slowing him down for little more than a few seconds. This is what the Hulk is all about, and is what people paid their money to see.
