The film, which is a part rock concert, part narrative feature hybrid directed by the already legendary Nimrod Antal features the music of Metallica, and interweaves live footage of the band playing a selection of songs from throughout their prolific career with footage of one of their roadies (Dane DeHaan) being sent on a mission to retrieve a package from a broken down tour vehicle. But what first appears to be a routine job for the young man quickly turns into a surreal nightmare when he is pitted against a deadly horseman while travelling through the city's anarchic streets... It's a genius concept, and one that takes full advantage not only of DeHaan's considerable talents, but which also showcases the iconic brilliance of the Kings Of Thrash Metal, and gives them further opportunity to bring their beautifully contagious brand of heavy hitting rock to the masses.
