After being sent to jail for insider trading, industry titan Michelle Darnell (Melissa McCarthy) re-emerges ready to re-brand herself as America’s latest sweetheart. Forced to move in with former assistant Claire (Kristen Bell) and her young daughter, Michelle is at her lowest ebb but wastes no time in devising a winner-takes-all plan to rebuild her empire.
