5. He Can Play Villains
Poor villain-playing actors. They leave the best impressions on us, but still somehow seem to always be playing second fiddle in their careers to leading men. Maybe that was just back in the day of serious typecasting. One factor that lead to Dalton's undoing was his desire to make the James Bond on screen feel more like the one in the novel. This meant the usually light-hearted tone would be replaced with a penchant for violent moodiness. Although the results of this new direction were fantastic, Dalton took heat for not being "funny" like his predecessors. What really makes Dalton stand out from all the other Bonds is his insane ability to play both good guys and villains. In fact it's hard to determine what he's better at. This gave him an edge that no other Bond (yes, not even Daniel Craig) has had to date.
