10 2015 Movies You're Already Dying To See

9. St James Place

There is very little that wouldn't entice us to watch Steven Spielberg's latest offering, St James Place. It's a Cold War era thriller, written by the Coen brothers and starring not only the most likable man alive Tom Hanks, but also the tremendously talented stage actor Mark Rylance, who has never really gotten his proper due in regards to roles on the big screen. St James Place is based on the 1960 U-2 Incident, in which an American spy plane was shot down in Soviet airspace, sparking a full-fledged international scandal. Hanks will play James B. Donovan, the American lawyer who engaged in negotiations for the safe return of the downed plane's pilot, Francis Gary Powers. Is it possible that this film's overload of talent will build up expectations to the point where virtually any final product is going to be a disappointment? Maybe. But we have faith that they can pull it off.
