10 2017 Movies That Definitely Deserve Sequels

Of all of the entries on this list, Baby Driver is perhaps the most likely to actually get a sequel. Director Edgar Wright has already spoken about his desire to make a sequel and has even discussed having a number of solid ideas for a script. The original film, which was a surprise hit this summer, ends with Baby and Debora riding off into the sunset together.

If there's one thing audiences know about crime movies, it's that the criminal world always finds a way to lure people back into its grasp. A sequel to Baby Driver could follow Baby as his past catches up to him, threatening his new utopian existence.

Given the box office success of Baby Driver, there will almost certainly be a sequel in the near future. The world Wright has established is gripping and has plenty of potential. Anything that gives cinemagoers more of those perfectly choreographed action sequences can only be a good thing.
