The Buzz: Frozen became an instant pop-culture phenomenon upon release, eventually grossing almost $1.3 billion worldwide and cementing itself as the most commercially successful animated film ever.

It also scored a strong 90% rating with critics, and with Disney their time to develop this sequel, there's the genuine hope that Frozen 2 can recapture that stunning magic once more.

It won't be easy to top the original, of course, but with so much passion and effort clearly poured into it, not to mention letting it stew until the idea has fully crystallised, there's a sure possibility it does the unthinkable and one-ups what came before.
