The Buzz: This is it. The big one. The most anticipated superhero movie in history, and what's sure to be one of the most commercially successful and talked-about films ever.

The MCU has had a startlingly impressive critical winning streak to date, though it's also important to note that not a single of its movies has cracked 100% on the Tomatometer, with Black Panther's 97% being the closest so far.

Infinity War itself actually scored a fairly modest 84% by comparison, though given that it was simply a set-up for another movie, it's at least somewhat understandable why a small percentage of critics weren't terribly enamoured with it.

Avengers 4, meanwhile, is being mounted as an epoch-ending event which will change the MCU forever and conclusively resolve Infinity War's cliffhanger.

Given the expectation that Avengers 4's ending will leave fans fighting back tears one way or another, there's every possibility the most high-stakes and emotional MCU film to date finally nails universal critical approval.

The sheer number of moving parts probably make it one of the less-likely choices on this list, but you never know.
